The proposed development is to provide a building footprint of approximately 650m2, catering for the needs of children in three age groups from 18 months to 5 years. A controlled play area of approximately 700m2 is envisaged. A second stage of development to increase the capacity of the site by approximately 200m2 to cater for an additional 30 pupils is envisaged at a later date.

The concept is to arrange a series of buildings to create internal streets and “pause” spaces. The buildings are located to maximize northerly orientation for the teaching and outdoor play spaces. Particular consideration for traffic and parking to ensure efficient and safe pick-up and drop-off of children.
